ABOUT THE HARVEST FESTIVAL & ENERGY FAIR
|
The Lake Superior Harvest Festival and Energy Fair is the premier venue
to learn about sustainable agriculture and food systems, renewable and
efficient energy solutions, local economies and sustainable living
practices relevant to our local Lake Superior communities. Over the past
sixteen years, this event has grown to be one of the largest and most well
attended events of its kind in our region. Each year, hundreds of people,
businesses and organizations join the Lake Superior Sustainable Farming
Association and Lake Superior Energy Association to host this visionary
event.
This is your invitation to join us for this one-day family oriented event.
Attendees will enjoy meeting local farmers and eating locally grown food,
learning about real solutions to saving energy, seeing the latest
innovations in transportation and gaining new knowledge around urban
gardening, composting and food preservation. Kids will enjoy local
storytellers, petting zoo and puppets. All of this including live music, local
arts and crafts and other interesting surprises.
